A few days ago, after finishing my consultations, I attended the Belotero TTT (Train The Trainer) session held at Park Hyatt Seoul late in the evening.

Back to Basics: Anatomy is the Beginning of Humility

During the lecture, I reviewed the vascular anatomy that needs attention during nose filler procedures.

It's a diagram I've seen thousands of times, but every time I see it, I reaffirm my mindset.

Accidents happen the moment you become overconfident and think, ‘I know everything.’

By reconfirming the course of blood vessels and discussing with colleagues that a 0.1mm difference in depth can determine safety, I gained confidence that my standard for ‘safe procedures’ is by no means excessive.

Preparing for even the 1% chance: That is a professional's responsibility

I simulated the emergency treatment protocol in my mind, which is crucial in a matter of seconds, should any unexpected signs appear during the procedure.

It was a time when I once again felt the weight of responsibility as a medical professional, not just acquiring knowledge, but taking responsibility for the patient's life entrusted to my fingertips.

Ultimately, I find the answer in the patient's expression

This certificate received after the training is not just a piece of paper proving my skills, but I consider it my minimum courtesy to the patients who trust me and visit my clinic.

The conclusion of the conversations I had with other directors over dinner was also ultimately,

‘How can we be even safer and more natural?’

It was.

Thanks to the heated discussions that continued late into the night, my body was tired, but my mind was light thinking of how much more confident I would be when facing patients the next day.
