Recently, laser lifting procedures that do not require incisions or anesthesia have become increasingly popular for skin elasticity and anti-aging. Among these, ‘InMode’ is a lifting device approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (KFDA), which utilizes radiofrequency energy. This high-frequency energy is delivered deep into the skin with high-voltage electrical stimulation to eliminate unnecessary fat cells and promote the production of collagen and elastin in the dermis.

This InMode lifting is effective in improving the elasticity of the epidermis, dermis, and SMAS layers of the skin, and removing unnecessary fat using high-frequency energy. It has the advantage of causing little pain, to the extent that separate anesthesia is not required, and no separate recovery period is needed.

InMode lifting is broadly divided into MINI FX mode and FORMA mode.

The FORMA mode delivers 43-degree heat to the dermal layer of the skin, promoting collagen production and elastin regeneration. InMode lifting is equipped with Cut-off technology that checks the temperature 1,000 times per second, minimizing potential side effects such as burns or pain during the procedure. Due to its minimal irritation, it can also be applied to thin and sensitive skin.

Typically, it is difficult to see the full effects of InMode when the treatment time is insufficient or when the skin condition has not been accurately assessed. Precautions after InMode procedure

Although there are significant differences depending on skin type, bruising may occur after the MINI FX mode procedure. This usually subsides without issue within 3-5 days, but if it is a major concern, it can be resolved using a vascular laser.
